DEPRESSION CONTINUES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD OVER THE EASTERN TROPICAL PACIFIC
Here’s what the computer models are showing
According the NHC advisory 2…The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue during the next day or so, followed by a turn toward the west on Thursday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some slight strengthening is possible, and the depression could become a tropical storm later tonight or Wednesday.
Weakening is expected to commence by Thursday morning, and the system is forecast to become a remnant low in a couple of days.
