There are no active tropical cyclones at the time of this writing

For the eastern North Pacific…east of 140 degrees west longitude:
A low pressure system could form during the next day or so a few hundred miles south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec.
Thereafter, some slow development will be possible while the system moves westward at 5 to 10 mph.

low…30 percent
One tropical storm, Andres, already formed earlier this month. The next named storm that develops this season will be Blanca.
