There’s a tropical disturbance being referred to as Invest 93W…which is located approximately 400 NM east-southeast of Legazpi, Philippines

Northwest Pacific Ocean:

According to the JTWC…satellite imagery shows disorganized, persisting
convection with a poorly organized low level circulation center.

Environmental analysis shows that the invest is in a marginally favorable area for development defined by westward outflow, low (5-10 knot) vertical wind shear and warm sea surface temperatures.

Global model guidance is in agreement that the invest will track generally northwest over the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained surface winds are estimated at 15 to 20 knots.

The potential for the development of a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours remains low.
